Automotive and technology PR
from the experts

Looking for help with your PR? We'll loop you in.

We are loop

loop is a specialist automotive and technology PR agency for brands that need people who know the industry, know the media and know how to get things done.

We run busy press offices, plan and deliver launches, manage press fleets, create campaigns, support senior spokespeople, handle tricky issues and produce the stories, assets and materials that help brands stay visible.

We’re automotive people, media people and straight talkers. We know what journalists need, what clients are trying to achieve and how to turn a brief, a problem or a half-formed idea into something that works.

Our work

Our work covers the full reality of automotive PR: press offices, vehicle launches, press fleet management, media events, interviews, campaigns, research projects, social content, crisis support and all the daily jobs that keep communications moving. Some projects need a big creative idea. Others need calm hands, sharp thinking and no fuss. Many need a bit of both.

Our news

News, views, original research, insight and analysis, plus the odd useful thing we couldn’t resist digging into. These are the issues catching our attention across the automotive and technology worlds.

Our people

Our team has seen the industry from every angle: client side, agency side, newsroom, engineering workshop and beyond. That breadth of experience means we don't just understand communications; we understand the businesses, products and people behind them. But that's only half the story. Because we’re also rally drivers, road-trippers, adventurers and authors, all united by a love of telling great stories and helping our clients succeed.

Head of Agency

Juliet Kellman

Juliet previously headed PR and communications for SEAT and CUPRA before taking the wheel at loop, so she knows exactly what clients need from the other side of the table. As Head of Agency, she oversees the team, its clients and its direction, bringing plenty of big-brand experience and, we suspect, a fairly high tolerance for last-minute requests.

Account Director

John Rawlings

John started out as a journalist before spending 15 years in the press offices at Vauxhall, Volvo and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. That means he brings experience from both sides of the media fence and an encyclopaedic knowledge of cars, vans, campervans and towing. His caravan and motorhome travels have taken him above the Arctic Circle and down to Morocco, which makes the average press launch seem fairly straightforward.

Head of Editorial

Alex Kefford

Alex spent more than 25 years working across the automotive and technology sectors as a journalist and editor before becoming loop's Head of Editorial. An earlier career in software engineering means he's equally at home turning complex engineering into stories people actually want to read. Along the way he's worked closely with brands such as Jeep and Abarth, had a modestly successful career as a rally driver and 4x4 instructor, and even written a book about a slightly fraught American road trip.

Account Executive

Lauren Buckman

Lauren cut her teeth on press-fleet management, acting as the link between clients, journalists and the vehicles everybody wants at exactly the same time. She brings an eye for detail to client work, keeping bookings, launches and day-to-day activity on track while making the whole exercise look considerably less complicated than it is.

Senior Consultant

Richard Durbin

Richard's background includes product communications at Bentley and Harley-Davidson before bringing that knowledge to agency life, which means he knows a thing or two about cars, motorcycles and brands people become unusually emotional about. He now provides senior counsel across corporate communications, launches and crises, and is particularly useful when a situation calls for experience, diplomacy or a very calm head.

Senior Consultant

Karen Parry

Karen has more than three decades in the industry, with senior roles at Jaguar Land Rover, Honda, Volvo, Ford and SEAT, as well as the SMMT and several of the industry’s best-known media brands. She brings all of that experience to loop as a senior consultant, and remains impressively unflappable when everybody else has decided that something is an emergency.

Finance

Tamara Capell

Tammy looks after the numbers at loop and has an AAT qualification behind her, which makes her considerably better equipped than the rest of us to understand all things money. She keeps the financial side of agency life running smoothly, while patiently explaining that 'miscellaneous' isn't an acceptable expense category.
