Start Rescue, Britain’s best value breakdown and roadside recovery service, is helping new customers overcome the cost-of-living crisis with discounts on all of its breakdown cover policies.

The offer runs during an extended Black Friday period, known as Cyber Week, from November 25 (Black Friday) until December 2.
All new Start Rescue customers will receive 15% off advertised prices on all of the Which? Recommended Provider’s standard policies, including the most popular five-star Defaqto*-rated, three-star cover which provides a nationwide service as well as assistance at the home address. Basic 1 star-cover offering roadside assistance and a local recovery with Start Rescue is available from under £17.
Policies that offer a years’ full cover, benefit from Local or Nationwide Recovery and the option of Home Assist as standard. While all policies provide Accident Recovery, Alternative Travel, Emergency Overnight Accommodation, Key Assist and access to the company’s user-friendly assistance app. All Start Rescue premiums are based on vehicle age alone – meaning customers are not penalised for the area in which the live or for their age.
Lee Puffett, Managing Director of Start Rescue, said: “Black Friday events aren’t just about discounted electrical goods. We understand motorists need to keep costs down right now, so this year we’re extending our deals across any of our breakdown policies during the seven-day Cyber Week period.”
“We always aim to be competitive on price, however, delivering excellent value does not mean policyholders should expect any less from our cover. We offer everything some of the older operators offer and frequently more.”
The breakdown provider has a 4.64-star rating on Trust Pilot, a five-star Defaqto* rating and recently achieved Which? Recommended Provider status for the fourth year running. Start Rescue also has a 97% recommendation rate from customers helped at the roadside, and is also authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
Start Rescue was launched in 2009 and is an integral part of the nation’s fourth largest breakdown and recovery service, Call Assist, which now has more than two million UK customers.
Call-outs are routed directly to hundreds of expert, independent vehicle recovery operators nationwide, with the local knowledge needed to reach customers quickly and with the specialist equipment needed to get them back on the road promptly.
In addition, Start Rescue invests heavily in the latest technology in a constant effort to improve the customer experience. This includes a market-leading app through which customers can make claims without ever needing to make a call and track the ETA of the recovery vehicle in real-time.
