Award-winning automotive community REVS and automotive PR and communications agency loop have teamed up to host a ‘quick ‘n’ dirty’ display of rally and race inspired machinery at the first Bicester Heritage Scramble of 2022.
Much more enticing than a damp morning stage in the Kielder Forest, the REVS and loop paddock is just one of the displays at the Bicester Heritage Scramble. Bobble hats will be de rigueur on the day, with guests able to enter the free #Bicesterbobble selfie competition and win an original piece from artist and REVS founder Adam Gompertz.
With up to 5,000 guests expected at this Sunday’s sold-out event, the shared space celebrates the rally and racing scene in its own special way, with the conventional and unconventional collected together.
With everything from Bentley’s incredible Pikes Peak racer to a Volvo 303 Explorer and even a Hilman Imp, the line-up includes four-wheel-drive legends, rear-wheel-drive heroes, championship winning motorbikes, single seat racers, and front-wheel-drive grass-roots road rallying. REVS will be taking its typical sideways approach, with a look at some less well-known completion classics – each having a story that’s as much about the dedication and passion of their owners as it is about the cars.
Refreshments on the day will be provided by Suzuki UK and its inimitable Jimny Beans coffee truck, allowing visitors to stay warm without having to resort to the trusty Thermos Flask and raise funds for the event’s nominated charity StarterMotor.
