Global demand for UK tech company’s electric motors triggers new production site and 250 jobs in Oxfordshire

Oxfordshire based tech company Saietta announces plans to expand production facilities. Bringing 150-250 jobs in the area over the next three to five years, the new sustainable plant will be powered by solar panels. It will be funded by a fresh investment round.

MAHLE and Canadian fuel cell manufacturer Ballard Power Systems Inc. have agreed to work together in the future on developing fuel cell systems for commercial vehicles of various weight classes. The long-term goal of the cooperation is to manufacture complete fuel cell systems for the European, North American, and Asian markets.

D2H Advanced Technologies, the advanced engineering company, has delivered a project for a major vehicle manufacturer that solves a known charging issue with a production electric vehicle (EV). The company deployed its battery simulation and correlation capability to enhance battery thermal management in a fast-charge scenario, accelerating the solution development process to reduce excess noise from high pumping power and help the dissipation of heat.
